Designed by Ken Scott in 1972, this dress is the ultimate in early seventies style. 
Having worn Ken Scott in her 1967 film 'Two For the Road', Audrey Hepburn said his clothes were "her favourite" and that she "looked forward to wearing them for years" (McCall's Magazine, Jan. 1967). Other fans of the designer's work included Monica Vitti and Barbra Streisand, who wore one of his dresses for the TV special 'Color Me Barbra' in 1966. Looking at this dress it is very evident why!
 
Made from the softest jersey fabric, the dress is printed with a bold linear design, created by Scott himself,  in shades of blue, green, purple, orange and black. The print also features his signature throughout. This dress was also made in other variations of the same print: one in shades of pink and the other in shades of brown. With a button-up front, fitted cuffs and the perfect seventies peaked collar, it epitomises Ken Scott's style and success in his field.

Good. 
The jersey fabric that Scott was so renowned for is still as soft, supple and luxurious on this dress as it was the day it was made. All the seams and original buttons are still intact. There are marks scattered across the dress from original wear (see photos), however with the boldness of the print they are hardly noticeable, and could potentially be removed by a specialist dry cleaner.
